Dragon Copilot - Information about the upcoming release of Dragon Copilot Physicians 5.0

We are announcing that Dragon Copilot Physicians 5.0 will be available starting on August 10, 2026, and will be fully available in all regions by August 17, 2026.

How does this affect me?

The update to Dragon Copilot Physicians 5.0 will be automatically applied. The 5.0 release contains the following improvements:

• Enhanced User Interface: The user interface has been simplified and streamlined for a better user experience.
• Marketplace: Third-party AI apps and agents on the Microsoft Marketplace will be available, allowing you to enable third-party extensions directly in your workflows.
• Custom Document Templates: Define and create documents such as referral letters that are automatically created for every ambient encounter, alongside the standard clinical note.
• AI assisted Templates: Describe a template in natural language and Dragon Copilot will automatically create a template based on the provided criteria.
