- The GIF provider in Engage will change from Tenor to GIPHY.
- On web and desktop, the GIF button in the publisher will automatically display GIFs from GIPHY after rollout.
- For mobile users, there may be a short period when GIFs are unavailable in Viva Engage mobile and in Engage experiences within Microsoft Teams mobile until users update to the latest version of the Engage app..
- Previously posted GIFs will continue to render normally and no existing content is impacted.
- Users can continue to share GIFs by pasting external GIF links into posts.
- The GIF toggle in the Engage admin center will continue to function as it does today and will respect existing tenant settings.
- No changes to existing admin configurations are required.
