MC1230887: Updates to Windows 365 navigation in the Microsoft Intune admin center

Windows 365 Cloud PC management in the Intune admin center will move to a new dedicated navigation area under Devices, with a vertical menu and a new Windows 365 Administration section under Tenant administration. No features or workflows will change. Rollout is late March to early April 2026.

[Introduction]

We are updating the Microsoft Intune admin center to improve the discoverability and management experience for Windows 365 Cloud PCs. No features, workflows, assignments, or Cloud PC behaviors are changing—this is a navigation update only.

[When this will happen:]

We will begin rolling out late March 2026 and expect to complete by early April 2026.

[How this affects your organization:]

Who is affected:

Admins who manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs in the Microsoft Intune admin center.

What will happen:

  • The Windows 365 entry point in the Intune admin center will move from the Devices > Device onboarding section into a new, dedicated navigation area called Manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs under Devices.
  • The existing horizontal navigation menu (such as Overview, All Cloud PCs, Provisioning policies, and Settings) will become a vertical list under the new Manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs section.
  • A new Windows 365 Administration section will be added under Tenant administration, grouping the following existing pages:
    • Cloud PC encryption type
    • Cloud PC alerts
    • Cloud PC maintenance windows
    • Partner connectors
  • No features, workflows, assignments, or Cloud PC behaviors are changing.
  • This update does not impact existing deployments, policies, assignments, REST APIs, or admin actions.

[What you can do to prepare:]

Admins will see Windows 365 Cloud PC management moved to its own navigation area in the Intune Devices menu. This change may require updates to your internal documentation, SOPs, or training materials that reference the previous Device onboarding location and updating them to reflect the new navigation paths.

[Compliance considerations:]

No compliance considerations identified, review as appropriate for your organization.
