MC1213769: Planned Maintenance: Windows 365 Service

Microsoft will perform a 2-hour planned maintenance on January 10, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM UTC for the Windows 365 alerting service in the EU. During this time, admins cannot create or edit alert rules, and new alerts may be delayed, but existing alerts remain visible.

As previously mentioned in MC1193688 improve security, operational efficiency, and reliability, Microsoft will perform planned maintenance on the Windows 365 alerting service in the European Union region. This work is scheduled during non-peak hours to help minimize potential impact.

  • End: January 10, 2026, 6:00 AM UTC

How this will affect your organization:

During this 2-hour maintenance window, admins will be unable to create or edit alert rules, and new alerts or notifications may be delayed. Existing alerts will remain visible, and remediation actions can still be taken as needed.
