MC1120154: Plan for Change: Update required for Microsoft Tunnel endpoints

Upgrade Microsoft Tunnel to the March 19, 2025 release or later by August 15, 2025, to use new endpoints and avoid service disruptions. Downgrades to earlier versions will be unsupported and may cause connection issues.

As mentioned in MC1084626, as part of our ongoing improvements to the Microsoft Tunnel infrastructure, we introduced new endpoints with the March 19, 2025 release. Before August 15, 2025, you will need to upgrade your Microsoft Tunnel to the March 19, 2025 release or later to ensure you are using the new endpoints. Note that after this change, once you upgrade to this version or later, you will not be able to downgrade to any earlier version. Older releases that rely on legacy endpoints will not be supported and may cause service disruptions.

How this will affect your organization:

If you are using a Microsoft Tunnel version prior to the March 19, 2025 release, you will need to upgrade to avoid service disruption for your users as devices will not be able to connect.

What you need to do to prepare:

To ensure uninterrupted service, we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest supported build and avoid any rollback to unsupported versions.
