MC1105016: Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Add topic(s) through Copilot to your existing presentation

Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows desktop is introducing a new Copilot capability that helps users expand their presentations with ease. This feature allows users to generate and insert new topic(s) and slides that match the look and feel of their existing presentation—streamlining content creation and maintaining visual consistency.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout begins in early July 2025 for PowerPoint on Windows desktop.

How this affects your organization:

With this update, users can prompt Copilot to generate new content or reference a file to add topic-specific slides. The generated slides will automatically align with the design and formatting of the current presentation, reducing manual effort and ensuring a cohesive experience.

This feature is on by default.

A Microsoft 365 license is required to access this Copilot functionality.
